My father

I have a happy family, which comprises my father, mother and three siblings—three sister and no brother. We live happily in a peaceful and beautiful residence. My father is one of the important people to bring this wonderful life to us.

My father is a respectable person. He often tells us to respect other and they will respect us too. He is a disciplined energetic adventurous, determined, enthusiastic and diligent person. He has black hair, a healthy body and a pair of expressive eyes.

My father started work after his Form Five education. He worked as a salesman and sold type-writers. After a year he joined my uncle’s new company. There was nothing in the company—no workers, no money and no customers. Nonetheless, my father often tells us how he had to work diligently and he did it. He operated the forwarding company by himself. He worked 19 hours a day and slept in the office at that time. It was an extremely hard life for him.

My father also often tells us about his childhood life. He joined a football team and seldom won, but they never quit. He often advises me, “Do your best.” This keeps me motivated in things I do.

My father love geography, history, Chinese writing and Literature. I learned many poems from him when I was a child. He believes that I can learn a lot from it. When I was a child, he also read us a poem almost every night before he slept.

I also learnt to save money from him. I save my money to buy bonds while my friends use the money to shop. He is my role model—he never smokes; he does not gamble and away from drugs.

He is my good father. I love him very much; I wonder if I will be like him when I grow up.
